The Railway Museum is currently closed for the winter break.
During this time, we are preparing exciting new exhibitions and events for the coming season.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the spring!

Opening hours 2026
23 May – 26 June, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 2 pm to 5 pm
27 June Presentation of the 2043 and 2062

opening of the two permanent exhibitions

Opening begins at 10:30 a.m. in the exhibition hall
28 June – 17 September: Wednesday – Monday 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed on Tuesdays!
19/20 September: 12th Lienzer Südbahntage with
model railway exchange and boiler house festival/free admission!
Opening hours: Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m./Sunday 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
25 September–16 October every Friday from 2 p.m.–5 p.m.

We would like to point out that not all areas of the exhibition are barrier-free.
